ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Malta officially unveiled its new board and a brand new website, www.itsmalta.eu, at an event for stakeholders in Ta'Xbiex earlier this month.

ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Malta officially unveiled its new board and a brand new website, www.itsmalta.eu, during a cocktail party for stakeholders in Ta’ Xbiex earlier this month. The revived board and website enable the organisation to be part of the global ITS community.
ITSMalta now truly provides networking opportunities to most transport and logistics stakeholders and, via ConnectBaltica, can act as a bridge from the south to the north of Europe.

Integrating into the European network of ITS organisations is key to ITSMalta's vision. Cooperation with other organisations leads to increased partnership, friendship and shared resources thus enabling all three organisations to better promote the use of ITS in. At the ITS European Congress in Dublin last June, David Seisun as a representative of ITSMalta, signed two Memorandums of Understandings with ITS Ireland and ITS UK. ITSMalta is currently undergoing a revitalisation and reorganisation process with the inclusion of a greater and more holistic focus on applying ITS applications to the Maltese Islands. These processes will enable ITS to be a better and wider-reaching platform to perform its mission statement and will also have more resources and know-how to do so. In addition, a number of new members have been added to the Board:

The new members have great expertise in the field of ITS and also project management. Our new website has a fresh and efficient look, quite a fitting a representation of who we are and what we want to achieve!
